Night fishing at Étang de Romelaere is not permitted. Night fishing is not authorised at the Réserve Naturelle Nationale des Étangs du Romelaëre. Fishing hours are strictly limited: May–September 08:00–18:00 weekdays (until 19:00 weekends/public holidays); October–December 08:00–16:00. Season open 1 May–15 December only. 21 designated bank pegs only. 1 rod per angler. No-kill mandatory for all species (including pike and zander). Boats, float tubes, kayaks and all watercraft strictly forbidden. Dogs forbidden even on a lead. Anglers must leave the bank before dark.

Bivouac & overnight camping is not permitted at Étang de Romelaere. No camping on the reserve. Only fishing umbrellas and small canopies (parapluies et auvents) permitted at the peg. Strict nature reserve — Eden 62 manages the site and can eject anyone breaking the rules.
