This substantial Alpine reservoir (186 hectares) is a trout and pike destination rather than a carp venue, so it won't suit dedicated carp anglers—but pike enthusiasts will find good potential in its deeper sections. Day fishing only (1st Category water), bank access throughout, roughly 443 miles south-east of Calais in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. You'll need a day ticket from the local AAPPMA (Amicale des Pêcheurs de l'Arc, La Chambre/Aiguebelle) before fishing.
