Fishing Rules & Regulations — Lac de Guerlédan

Night fishing at Lac de Guerlédan is not permitted. No night fishing authorised on Lac de Guerlédan. The lake is managed primarily as a carnivore fishery (pike, zander, perch, catfish). All carp must be returned immediately. Note: sandre (zander) spawning protection zone in operation from 26 April to 13 June 2025 on designated sections — all fishing forbidden in those zones during that period. Anglers must leave the bank before dark.

Boat fishing: Boats are permitted at Lac de Guerlédan. Thermal motors authorised. Inland waterways boating licence (permis fluvial) mandatory for motors over 6CV. Speed limits: 60 km/h in the central sports zone (Anse de Sordan to 1km from dam); 20 km/h from there to Bois de Caurel; 5 km/h in the Anse de Landronnec and from Anse de Kermadec to Bon Repos. Jet skiing and water skiing forbidden at night. 5 official launch ramps available.

Required permits & cards: Standard Côtes-d'Armor departmental fishing card (reciprocal). Capture logbook (carnet de capture) previously required — abolished in 2025. Annual quota of captures applies. Cards available at Kreiz Breizh Tourist Office offices in Rostrenen and Bon-Repos-sur-Blavet (summer).
