Fishing Rules & Regulations — Lac du Chevril

Night fishing at Lac du Chevril is not permitted. Lac du Chevril (Tignes, ~245ha) is a high-altitude EDF reservoir at ~1700m in the Tarentaise Alps. 1st category — salmonids (trout, cristivomer 35cm min). Night carp NOT authorised. Major marnage (at 60%, -63m from max as of June 2025). Mountain lake opening: 1st Saturday of June. Savoie rule: boats forbidden above 1000m altitude. Anglers must leave the bank before dark.

Boat fishing: Boat access is restricted at Lac du Chevril. Boats forbidden on mountain lakes above 1000m altitude (Savoie general rule).

Bivouac & overnight camping is not permitted at Lac du Chevril. Night fishing not authorised.

Required permits & cards: Savoie departmental card. Cristivomer: 35cm min, 6 fish/day max.
