Flevoland is the Netherlands' newest province — reclaimed polder land surrounded by the Randmeren chain (Gooimeer, Eemmeer, Nijkerkernauw, Nuldernauw) and the massive IJsselmeer. The polder lakes and Randmeren hold excellent Carp to 30kg+ and allow night sessions with a NachtVIStoestemming. Just 30–45 minutes from Amsterdam.
All anglers need a VISpas (~€40/year) from Sportvisserij Nederland covering most public lakes, rivers and canals. For night fishing add a NachtVIStoestemming (€17.50/year). Buy both at sportvisserijnederland.nl before travel. Always check VISplanner.nl for rules on the specific water.
