Gelderland is dominated by the IJssel river — one of the Netherlands' finest river fisheries for Barbel, Chub, Asp and Pike. The province also includes sections of the Waal and Neder-Rijn. Several gravel pit lakes near Nijmegen and Arnhem add stillwater options. Most venues are within 4 hours of the Hook of Holland.
