About Pomerania

Pomerania (Pomorskie) covers the Baltic coast from Gdańsk to the German border, encompassing the Kashubian Lake District — one of Poland's most popular fishing regions. The Kashubian lakes (Wdzydze, Charzykowskie, Raduńskie chain) are large, clear glacial lakes holding pike, perch, zander, bream and carp in exceptional scenic surroundings. The Radunia, Wieżyca and Słupia rivers drain the Kashubian hills, offering trout and grayling in their upper sections.

The Vistula delta and the Vistula Lagoon (Zalew Wiślany) near Gdańsk produce outstanding bream, pike, zander and perch in sheltered brackish water. Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa airport serves the region with direct UK flights from multiple operators. The Tri-City area (Gdańsk-Gdynia-Sopot) is an excellent base for UK anglers — good accommodation, easy permit access at local tackle shops, and direct road links to the lake districts.

Key species include pike, perch, zander, bream, carp, trout, grayling, tench.
