By accessing or using PiscaMaps ("the service") at piscamaps.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. About the service

PiscaMaps provides an interactive map and database of public fishing venues in France. The service is operated by Gent Digital and is intended for UK and European anglers planning fishing trips to France.

2. Membership and access

Certain features require a paid membership. Membership is available on monthly (£5.95/month) and annual (£49.95/year) plans. You can cancel at any time via your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Accuracy of information

PiscaMaps makes every effort to ensure the fishing venue data is accurate and up to date. However, fishing regulations in France can change seasonally and vary by locality. You must always verify current rules with the relevant AAPPMA or fishing federation before fishing. PiscaMaps accepts no liability for incorrect, outdated or incomplete information.

All anglers fishing in France require a valid French fishing licence (Carte de Pêche). It is your responsibility to obtain the appropriate licence and comply with all local regulations.

4. User content

By submitting catch reports, photos, or reviews to PiscaMaps, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and use that content within the service. You confirm that any content you submit is your own and does not infringe any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any user-submitted content that is inaccurate, offensive or in breach of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, copy or redistribute the venue database or any part of the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Submit false, misleading or harmful content

6. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

7. Limitation of liability

PiscaMaps is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to reliance on venue information for fishing activities.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
