The Glasha Burn is a small Scottish stream with a mixed character of fast-flowing rocky sections and slower pool areas, typical of upland burns in the region. It offers good opportunities for trout fishing, particularly for brown trout in the clearer upper reaches, with the potential for grilse in lower sections during appropriate seasons. Access is generally available along much of the watercourse, though anglers should check with local landowners and obtain necessary permits through the relevant Scottish fishing rights holders.
Anglers should note the close season on Glasha Burn: 15 March – 15 June (rivers, England & Wales). Club membership or day ticket access is required in addition to your EA rod licence on most stretches.
