Long Burn is a small upland stream typical of northern UK burns, flowing through moorland and rough pasture for approximately 9 kilometres. The clear, fast-flowing water over rocky substrates provides excellent habitat for trout, with good spawning gravels and natural cover. This is classic small stream fishing, best suited to anglers who enjoy technical, intimate watercraft in wild, undeveloped countryside.
