Night fishing at Grand Étang de Vaux is not permitted. Night carp fishing NOT authorised at Grand Étang de Vaux (Nièvre). The EHGO guide states: "La pêche de la carpe de nuit n'est pas autorisée." Electric motor boats permitted (no thermal). Specific rules apply for the étang ("parcours spécifique" per Fédération). The étang is 147ha, 2nd category public domain. Float-tube allowed. Boats forbidden on sister lake la Perchette. Brochet fishing reserve on Vaux 27 January–25 April. Anglers must leave the bank before dark.
