Lac Blanc is a pristine high-altitude mountain lake in the Hautes-Pyrénées offering bank fishing only for trout, pike and perch across just 2.2 hectares—ideal if you fancy a scenic change of pace from lowland French carp waters. Night fishing isn't permitted here due to the altitude, so plan daylight sessions; it's a serious trek from Calais (564 miles), so best combined with other Occitanie venues.
