Lac de Filleit is a substantial 52-hectare reservoir in the Pyrenees foothills offering excellent carp and catfish prospects alongside pike, zander and tench in a scenic mountain setting. Night fishing is permitted in the Federal Night Zone, and electric-motor boats are allowed, making this a versatile venue for serious anglers prepared for the 545-mile journey from Calais. You'll need to purchase a French fishing licence and contact FDAAPPMA 09 (Ariège federation) in advance to confirm access and any local regulations.
