Fishing Rules & Regulations — Lac de Gérardmer

Night fishing at Lac de Gérardmer is not permitted. Lac de Gérardmer is classified 1st category piscicole — trout, corégone, perch, pike and cyprinids. Night carp fishing NOT authorised (1st category). Open from 2nd Saturday of March. Trolling from boat authorised (no thermal motors). The lake does not benefit from CHI/EHGO/URNE reciprocity — local AAPPMA card only. Card types: journalière, permis vacances (7 consecutive days), or annual. Navigation droit required from Mairie. Anglers must leave the bank before dark.

Boat fishing: Only electric motors are permitted — thermal engines are forbidden. Rowing boats and human-powered craft permitted. Trolling with 3 rods max per boat. Thermal motors strictly forbidden. Navigation droit required from Mairie de Gérardmer.

Bivouac & overnight camping is not permitted at Lac de Gérardmer. Night fishing not authorised — no overnight bivouac for fishing.
