This 60-hectare Pyrenean reservoir offers excellent carp and catfish potential in stunning mountain scenery, with a solid mix of species including tench and bream for variety. However, the venue is currently closed to anglers due to major dam construction works and will remain unavailable throughout 2026, making it unsuitable for trip planning at present. Contact FDAAPPMA 65 (Fédération Pêche Hautes-Pyrénées) for reopening updates and future access conditions.
Night fishing at Lac de l'Oule is not permitted. Night carp in Hautes-Pyrénées is only permitted on specific named venues (Lourdes, Louet, Gubinelli, Arrêt-Darré, Maubourguet etc.).
