Night fishing is prohibited due to its protected status as a 1st Category water, and while boats are banned, float-tubes are tolerated in designated zones, making it ideal for exploring deeper sections from bank or tube. You'll need an AAPPMA 66 permit and membership; contact FDAAPPMA 66 for current regulations before the long drive south from Calais (579 miles).
