Lac Long is an intimate natural lake in the Hautes-Pyrénées offering bank fishing only for pike, perch and tench across just 1.1 hectares—ideal if you're seeking a quieter, more personal fishing experience away from busier French venues. Night fishing isn't permitted here, making it a daytime-only destination roughly 568 miles south of Calais. You'll need a valid French fishing licence and AAPPMA membership (Fédération Pêche Hautes-Pyrénées) before casting.
