Lac Palluel is an intimate 3-hectare alpine lake in the Queyras massif offering pristine bank fishing for pike, perch and tench in spectacular mountain scenery—ideal if you're seeking solitude over big weights. Night fishing isn't permitted due to the high-altitude environment, and you'll fish exclusively from the bank as boats are prohibited. You'll need a French fishing licence and AAPPMA membership (contact FDAAPPMA 05 locally); it's a 480-mile trek from Calais, so best combined with other Provence waters.
Night fishing at Lac Palluel is not permitted. Night carp is not authorised in Hautes-Alpes. The department is dominated by mountain lakes and salmonid waters (1st category) where night carp fishing is prohibited.
