Lac Tourrat, Hautes-Pyrénées
This intimate 9.8-hectare high-altitude lake in the Pyrenees offers bank fishing only for trout, pike and perch in a stunning mountain setting—ideal if you're looking to escape busy lowland venues. Day fishing only due to its elevation, and located 569 miles from Calais, it's best combined with other regional water. You'll need a local AAPPMA day ticket from Fédération Pêche Hautes-Pyrénées 65 and can fish from the bank in season.
Night fishing at Lac Tourrat is not permitted. Night carp fishing in Hautes-Pyrénées is only permitted on specific named venues per prefectoral order.
