About Fishing at Lac d'Esparron

Lac d'Esparron is an intimate 2.1-hectare natural lake in Provence offering pike, perch and tench in a stunning Alpine setting—a refreshing change from larger commercialised venues, with night fishing permitted in designated zones. The electric-motor-only policy keeps the lake peaceful, though it's a substantial 503-mile haul from Calais, making it better suited to a multi-week tour of southern France than a quick weekend trip. You'll need to contact AAPPMA Verdon Colostre or FDAAPPMA 83 for night fishing permits and current access conditions before visiting.
