Formed by damming a river valley in Ariège, Étang de Soulcem is a medium-sized public reservoir covering 87 hectares and one of the more significant fisheries in Occitanie. Species present include Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Perch, Pike and Black Bass.
Night fishing is not permitted at Étang de Soulcem, so plan accordingly. Regarding boats: Float-tube tolerated. Overnight bivouac camping is authorised, ideal for multi-day carp sessions.
