Fishing permits in Slovakia — every angler needs a Slovak state fishing licence (rybársky lístok), sold by any municipal office for about €3 a week to €10 a year, plus a permit (povolenie) for the specific water from the Slovak Fishing Association (SRZ). Non-members and visitors buy a guest permit (hosťovacie povolenie) by the day, week or season. On carp waters the national decree 381/2018 allows 24-hour fishing from 1 June to 31 October; trout and grayling waters have shorter hours and seasonal closures.
